Things I’m still getting used to:
- A limited wardrobe (only being allowed 2 suitcases makes wearing something new everyday very difficult)
- Limited groceries (it’s too far a walk to buy more food)
- The time change (I’m ready for bed by 8pm and wake up at 7 am)
- Winter (it’s nothing like a New York winter)
- Being able to drink (the drinking age is 18)
- City life (I’ve never seen more Chinese restaurants before in my entire life)
- No tv
- No texting (Too much money, and too much effort to text on my tiny pay-as-you-go phone
- Measurements (How can it be 7 degrees out?! What does that even mean?)
Things I’m already used to:
- Accents (It’s really easy to adjust to accents, they are so sexy)
- No hair straightener (saves me a lot of time, sweat, and hassle)
- Living in a single (Nobody can tell me to clean up my side of the room)
- Beautiful landscape everywhere
XOXO,
A Wolf
